Rotary District Environmental Solutions Summit

Join Rotary members on Sunday May 19, 10 am to 3 pm at San Dieguito County Park, in Del Mar for a day filled with fun and hands-on environmental activities. The summit is organized by the District Environmental Sustainability (DES) Committee with the support of Rotary District 5340 and EDCO to make this event free and open to all. Bring your family and friends!

What can you expect when attending the summit?

  • Visit the DES Ambassador booths featuring the following topics: Tree Planting & Revegetation, Saving Pollinators, Plastic Solutions, Food Waste, and Litter Cleanups. 

  • Join a 1-hr group activity whether you want to beautify a native plant trail or walk with pollinators.

  • Present your environmental project and participate in the contest to win one of the cash awards (Public Choice or Judges Choice).

  • A food vendor will be onsite for anyone wanting to enjoy lunch.

  • This event is zero waste!

  • The site provides shade, picnic tables, restrooms, and a playground. 

This summit is for any Rotary, Rotaract and Interact members who want to increase their environmental impact and/or showcase what they do.  For more information, please visit the summit website.
