We meet once a month to share updates and upcoming events, hear from a speaker representing a community organization, and to connect with one another. Upcoming events include volunteering and networking opportunities. A light dinner will be provided.
The speaker for this meeting will be Karen Reilly, Branch Manager of the Mission Valley Library since 2013. She received her Master’s in Library Science from UCLA, and has worked for the San Diego Public Library since 2006. She also has a law degree from the University of Minnesota, and has worked as a law librarian at the San Diego Public Law Library and the California Western School of Law Library. Before becoming a librarian, Karen worked as an attorney in the State of Minnesota, where she practiced in federal and state courts, as well as in the tribal court of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe.
Attendees are encouraged to bring donations of new adult-sized fleece blankets for PATH. Please plan on bringing a cash or check for your membership dues ($125).
Prospective members are welcome! Email us at mverotary@gmail.com to let us know you’re coming. If you aren’t a member, your first meeting is free. We ask $10 to cover the cost of dinner from members and visiting Rotarians.
