Club Meeting with Speaker on Getting More Out of Being a Rotarian

  • Mission Valley Branch Library - Community Room 2123 Fenton Parkway San Diego, CA, 92108 United States (map)

We meet once a month to share updates and upcoming events, hear from a speaker representing a community organization, and to connect with one another. Upcoming events include volunteering and networking opportunities. A light dinner will be provided.

We usually meet on the first Monday, but our space will be unavailable in November since it is used for the election, so the meeting has been moved to Tuesday November 12.

Our speaker will be Brett Morey, Past President of the La Jolla Golden Triangle Rotary and an active Rotarian for over 22 years. His talk, “Get More Out of Being a Rotarian” will inspire you to seek opportunities to serve at a global level including getting involved with the Tournament of Roses in Pasadena and perhaps join a Rotary Fellowship to connect with others around the globe. Many Rotarians in District 5340 have met Brett at one point or another as he served as Youth Service Chair for the District 2016-18 and has spoken at numerous District Conferences and events.

Prospective members are welcome! Email us at mverotary@gmail.com to let us know you’re coming. If you aren’t a member, your first meeting is free. We ask $10 to cover the cost of dinner from members and visiting Rotarians.
